The chrysanthemum is one of the most iconic flowers in Japanese visual imagery. In traditional art and Japanese tattooing, it symbolizes longevity, dignity, and enduring beauty.

This design reinterprets that classic flower through a dynamic composition inspired by the language of Japanese tattooing: petals opening in layers, defined lines, and a clear graphic presence, as if it were a small flash converted into jewelry.

Each flower is engraved on pearlescent acrylic and hand-painted with metallic gold pigment. The golden lines run across the petals like delicate veins of light, evoking the spirit of kintsugi: highlighting in gold that which is part of history.

The pearlescent base does not have a completely fixed color. Its particles reflect light and generate iridescent sparkles that change with movement. Depending on the angle, the petals can vibrate between deep blue, silver, or almost pearlescent tones, creating a luminous and lively effect.

The result is a lightweight yet impactful piece, where the contrast between the pearlescent blue and the gold strokes makes the flower come alive with every movement.
