PEONY
DESCRIPTION
Peonia is one of the most luminous pieces in the Hana 2026 collection.
The peony is known as the queen of flowers. In Japanese art and traditional tattooing, it represents beauty, prosperity, and bold elegance. It is an exuberant flower that symbolizes both delicacy and strength.
This design is inspired by that classic iconography, reinterpreting the peony's form through fluid graphic strokes. The petals unfold in organic layers that evoke the characteristic movement of Japanese tattooing, where flowers are not mere ornament: they are character.
Each flower is engraved in pearlescent methacrylate and hand-painted with metallic gold pigment. Golden lines trace the petals like delicate veins of light, a nod to kintsugi, the Japanese technique that repairs by celebrating history instead of hiding it.
The pearlescent methacrylate base provides soft, shifting reflections. Depending on the angle of the light, the petals seem to illuminate from within, as if the flower were made of shimmering silk.
A peony that blooms in light and gold.
It is a piece designed for those who show themselves as they are: delicate and strong at the same time.
It's not just an earring.
It's a flower that doesn't wither.
